Let’s play and drip vases

The ‘Let’s play and drip vases’ are a collection of vases. The piled up layers of plywood form the base of these products. By sandblasting these the vases, layers become one, revealing a unique structure. Through this process the material undergoes a metamorphosis, the natural look of wood becomes less recognizable. The vases are pored over with a coloured resin, on both the inside and outside. This coating makes them water resistant. This means the vases can be filled with water and can actually be used as a vase. No vase is the same, since the used technique makes the outcome unpredictable. Each vase is a result of carftmanship.
